Our Speed Training Programs primarily focuses on improving an athlete's technique and conditioning. With a strong foundation of proper technique and conditioning this will lead to sprint efficiency and increased speed.
Power training enables athletes to produce and apply the greatest amount of their maximal strength in the shortest period of time. It is possible for an athlete to possess unordinary strength but at the same time not have that explosive power if they aren't aware of knowing how to apply their strength rapidly.
With the use of conditioning training we are optimizing the performance of the athlete and minimize the risk of injury and illness.
Also considered mental training can be all the difference between first place and last place. Practicing and developing reaction times is a key component of sports performance training. While giving an athlete a great cardio workout, the primary benefit of reaction training is the improvement of the neurological link between the brain and body. By improving the communication between the brain and body, dramatic improvements can be achieved in, eye/hand coordination, Quickness and reaction time, focus and concentration, mental Acuity, Stress reduction and 1st Step" speed.
Sports performance relies heavily on an athlete's ability to perform during unstable situations. All athletic movements incorporate the core in some way regardless of the sport which is being played. Core Training helps athletes gain coordination, balance, flexibility along with building leaner and stronger bodies.
Agility is the ability to rapidly change directions without the loss of speed, balance, or body control. As with other sports performance components, agility is specific to particular movement patterns. Improving an athlete's agility has been proven to boost speed, increase efficiency and enable the athlete to be more dynamic during athletic movements.
With most joints being counted on as key providers to stability and mobility, joint integrity training helps an athlete strengthen the surrounding muscles and tendons of joints with the use of specialized exercises. Joint integrity training also helps heal and prevent injuries to the body's load bearing joints (ankles, knees, hips and shoulders).
Strength training is beneficial while strengthening muscles, joints and bones, it is also known as a tool which lowers body fat, increases cardiovascular fitness and much more. Athletes who strength trains tend to have fewer injuries.
